About Me
My name is Xavier Peters and I attend Kearns High School. I have been associated with the KHS student government for the entirety of my time attending high school and have held the position of president. Being involved in student government has enticed me to commit to 400-450 hours of community service per year. I have also been an intern for a University of Utah engineering research program. My passion to improve the world encouraged me to apply for CEO Granite. I hope I can attain the knowledge and skills to adequately influence the world for the better through business. I am also very passionate about the concept of success which has driven me to push myself to build a better future. My favorite hobby is running which has led me to be part of running teams for six years.
About My Business
Peak Events is a Utah-based market and event planning business focused on strengthening local economies and communities through thoughtfully curated market and community centered events. Small businesses often struggle to gain traction, especially in suburban environments. Our objective is to be a pillar of support for struggling small businesses, providing visibility while creating accessible and well-organized events that promote foot traffic, develop connection, and support sustainable growth.
Our work is deeply rooted in community needs. As a resident of Kearns, Utah, I found a residential desire for a previous event called “Taste of Kearns”. Its recreation made me realize the importance of shared experiences and how impactful meaningful events could be when they are designed for the community. This knowledge has been further expanded having been heavily involved in the running community for several years.
This has shaped Peak Events approach. Rather than hosting pop-up markets, we focus on building systems of support while creating long-lasting events that feel authentic to the community they serve. Our aim is to act as a reliable partner for vendors, and a catalyst for connection within the neighborhoods we are serving.
