About Me

I am Vin Jansen, and I am a student at Skyline High School. My hobbies include playing tennis (where I am on my school's varsity team, where I play 1st singles and am also the 3rd ranked in my class for tennis in Utah) and being an officer in my school's SBO for the past 4 years, where I have been involved in countless hours of community service. I have used athletic and leadership skills to help start a program in SLC for Aceing Autism, a non-profit that teaches tennis to kids with autism, where I’ve built the program using my business skills. This shows my own personal philosophy of using your own talents to benefit others. Entrepreneurship interests me because of how I can use my ideas to improve people’s lives. Being a part of Granite CEO will provide me with an opportunity to build the proper skills to start a business, give me real-world experience, and give me access to mentors and other leaders. This will help me build a business to create a lasting difference in my community, build my passion for business and entrepreneurship, and meet like-minded teens who share my common interest and motivation to help others.
