About Me
Hello, my name is Liam Gay. I am a Junior at Skyline High School. An interest in business has been in me since I was very young. This passion has become more intense the last few years. One of my many hobbies is ham radio communications (My callsign is KK7-JHA). Two years ago I built a website to track information and communications during emergencies for Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT). My father and I run comms for our local CERT organization. This website/app is currently being used by several emergency precincts, and continues to grow. I also have a passion for adventure. I love to hike, climb, canyoneer and run. Last year I ran my first 50 mile desert trail race in Moab, Utah. These experiences, and my love for adventure have, and will continue to shape who I am. I set high standards for myself. I believe in pushing through challenges no matter how uncomfortable. I’ve learned that the finish line is always worth it!
Through this CEO program, I hope to gain real-world experience and knowledge that will provide me the skills to become a successful leader and entrepreneur. I hope this program will be an amazing opportunity for me to build connections with people and learn from business owners that have developed the experiences I dream of. Through this program I hope to expand my knowledge and develop the skills necessary to turn my ideas into reality. I look forward to the leadership opportunities and I hope to make a positive impact.
