About Me

My name is Helena Nordhoff, and I am a high school junior at Skyline High School, I am really enjoying the coursework with the GTI Academy of Finance. I have gained work experience as a lifeguard, administrative assistant, and childcare worker. I joined the CEO program because I am passionate about business, marketing, and networking with businesses within my community. I hope to learn and implement real-world skills in finance and client services that will help me succeed in future professional endeavors. I aim to improve my communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities while exploring new career paths. One of my proudest achievements so far has been successfully balancing academics and work while gaining hands-on experience in different industries. Each job has taught me valuable lessons about responsibility, adaptability, and professionalism. I value integrity, empathy, and hard work. I believe that treating people with respect and listening carefully are key to building friendships, establishing relationships, and providing excellent customer service. I look forward to gaining insight from local business leaders and anticipate hands-on venture opportunities.     Outside of school and work, I enjoy listening to finance podcasts like Money for the Rest of Us, spending time outdoors, playing tennis, and learning new things—especially about business and entrepreneurship. I’m excited to keep growing, both personally and professionally.
